Many adult children want a parent to remain in the house they already chose. Sevah can offer a daily companion conversation and consent-based updates for the care team. It does not replace home care, IHSS, or a family visit.
Sevah is a non-medical companion and care-concierge conversation. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a clinician, a care plan, or a family visit. Urgent or life-threatening needs belong with emergency services.
What staying home usually takes
Staying home is a mix of safety, company, and someone who can help with the hard hours. A companion conversation can make the day less quiet. It cannot bathe a parent, fill a pill box, or decide whether the house is safe.
If the parent lives in California and may qualify for public personal care, California Home Help explains In-Home Supportive Services. County IHSS offices and Medi-Cal decide that case. Sevah does not file it.
Where Tara can sit, softly
Tara is a conversational companion. With permission, it can keep a parent company and give the care team a clearer picture between visits. People review what matters. Sevah does not send autonomous medical alerts.

Does Sevah replace a caregiver so a parent can stay home?
No. Companion conversation sits beside family, home care, and any public program the county authorizes. It does not replace hands-on care.
Can Sevah tell us if a parent qualifies for IHSS?
No. Eligibility is a county and Medi-Cal decision. Use California Home Help for the paperwork path, then file with the county office.
Is this a medical monitoring service?
No. Sevah is non-medical. It does not diagnose. Call emergency services for urgent needs.
