Getting Started

Start a Sevah pilot without changing how your nurses chart.

This guide documents the current rollout path described on Sevah's public onboarding and product pages: start on one wing, baseline the facility's own metrics, deploy alongside the existing EHR, and keep every note in draft until a licensed nurse signs it.

Before you start

  • Identify a single wing or unit for the first pilot.
  • Confirm the nurses who will help baseline footsteps walked and interruptions fielded.
  • Bring your current EHR workflow, including PointClickCare or MatrixCare, into the kickoff conversation.
  • Choose the staff walkthrough window for go-live.

Pilot rollout

Step 1

Discovery

Sevah starts with a short call to learn the unit, census, floor plan, and where the shift gets thin.

Step 2

Baseline

Before anything changes, the team captures current footsteps and interruptions so later reads are measured against the building's own starting point.

Step 3

Deploy

Companion goes live alongside the facility's existing workflow and EHR. Staff keep working in the system they already run.

Step 4

Go Live

A short staff walkthrough prepares the unit for the first shift with Sevah in place.

Step 5

Read & Tune

After rollout, Sevah and the facility read the same baseline metrics together and decide whether to expand to the next unit.
